1960 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty

Purchased in 1962 for £185.

Used for most of Jimmy's session work (1963-1966), and was taken on tour from January 1970 through April 1971, when it was stolen at the airport between Sept. 3 or 4, 1971. Jimmy Page placed an ad in Rolling Stone with reward, but it was never recovered.

Monster has done something Gibson won't do, make an exact duplication of Jimmy Page's famous 60's LP guitar to exact specifications. We don't include any new electronics that did not exist in the 60's or fake aging processes that turn your binding yellow. If you want the real guitar with the original sound that Page fell in love with this is the only way to get it.

The Jimi Hendrix Tribute Strat in Midnight Purple Haze

A left-handed model strung for a right-handed player. This is the only true way to get Jimi’s tone. It has been professionally setup with Fender 150TR strings, (the modern renaming of the “Fender Rock n Roll” strings Jimi used) in Gauges 10-13-15-26-32-38. The guitar has big vintage tuners. The icing on the cake, however, is the pickup configuration--three reverse staggered vintage handwound pickups that are positioned perfectly for boning up on Jimi Hendrix classics.
